What’s the best and worst airport you’ve been to?
Lincoln, Nebraska Airport has been by far my best airport experience. It wasn’t because of the size of the airport, but because of the people. The employees were polite, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our check-in experience pleasant.
Dallas Airport, on the other hand, was my worst experience. The TSA officers were extremely rude to my son, who was only 11 years old at the time. My mother also needed wheelchair assistance, but no one came to help her until I finally made a complaint.
Those two experiences taught me that the size or appearance of an airport doesn’t matter nearly as much as the way people treat you. A little kindness and good customer service can make all the difference, especially when traveling with a child and an elderly parent.
