Who is your favorite cartoon character?

Asking me to choose my favorite cartoon character is not easy. I grew up with so many good ones.

There was Bugs Bunny with his attitude, adorable little Tweety Bird, Scooby-Doo and all his crazy adventures, the Pink Panther, and of course He-Man. I also loved The Jetsons and their futuristic world.

But if I really have to choose one character, I think I’m going with Jerry.

Jerry messing with Tom was priceless. That little mouse was so slick. He was clever, sneaky, and somehow always one step ahead of Tom. Poor Tom would come up with a plan to catch him, and before you knew it, Jerry had turned the whole thing around on him. I could watch those two over and over and still laugh.

What I loved most about all of these characters was how simple and innocent the cartoons were. They didn’t need complicated stories or anything extravagant to entertain us. Sometimes all we needed was a cat chasing a mouse around the house.

Maybe Jerry is my favorite character, but all of these cartoons bring back memories of a simpler time.

And Jerry? He still makes me laugh.
