What’s a place you visited that felt like home?

A place I visited and immediately felt at home was Southern California, especially Ontario.

I used to live there many years ago, and even though I’ve lived in the Midwest for a over 24 years now, Ontario still feels familiar to me in a way that is hard to explain.

I enjoy the slower, quieter life in the Midwest. The people are kind, there is less traffic, and life feels more relaxed. But when I go back to Ontario, something in me just settles. It feels like home.

Maybe it’s the weather. Maybe it’s the memories. Maybe it’s knowing that part of my life happened there. And of course, Southern California is also home to my lifelong baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, which makes that connection even more special.

I love the palm trees, the sunshine, the familiar streets, and even the traffic—well, maybe not the traffic. 😂

Some places are beautiful to visit, but others feel like they are part of you.

Ontario, California, is one of those places for me.
