How do you write what people actually want to read?

I don’t know what people actually want to read.

People are interested in famous artists, social media gossip, how to make money, and whatever everyone happens to be talking about. I’m not saying I don’t want to know about those things too. I do.

But that’s not my writing style.

I write about real life.

Some of my stories are sad. Some are fun. Some are about family, getting older, memories, fears, mistakes, and ordinary moments that end up meaning more than we realize.

They are simply pieces of life.

I could spend hours trying to figure out what people want to click on, what will get more views, or what topic will attract the most readers. But then I wouldn’t be writing for the reason I started.

I write because someone out there might be going through something similar.

Not every story will connect with everyone, and that’s okay. But if one person reads something I wrote and thinks, “I’ve felt that too,” then my story reached someone.

Sometimes we think we are the only ones struggling with something until someone else is brave enough to talk about it.

That’s what I want my writing to do.

I don’t need every story to be perfect or carefully created just to get attention.

I want it to be real.

Because somewhere along the way, our stories connect—and sometimes knowing someone else understands is enough to make us feel a little less alone.
